GROUPS & TEAMS

Ministries at All Souls are worked out through our various groups and teams. While groups are focused on fellowship and learning, teams are focused on service both inside and outside the church. These are constantly changing according to the time of year and our capacity, so the best way is to keep an eye on our Church Center app to see what is currently happening. As always, if you have any questions, you can always contact our priest or parish administrator to learn more.

Life Together
Groups are the primary way that we order our common life together as a parish. They are the way we both share fellowship and the way that we grow in our discipleship of Jesus with each other. By joining a group you can learn and love in organic relationships with others who are following the same Jesus as you.

Our groups have different characters from structured classes and studies to informal dinner parties, and we have groups for men, women, and mixed groups. The goal with each group is to meet the needs of the individuals who join them depending where they are in their life by providing a means to deeper relationships with God and others.

Finding a Group
Our groups are provided on a rotating basis depending on the capacity and needs of the church. All of our current groups can be found in our Church Center app where you can request to join (you do not have to be a member to join a group), and you can connect with the leaders of the group to find out more.

If you would like to start a new group, or if you are unable to find a group to join, you can speak with our priest, Fr. Josh who will work with you to find a group or discuss starting a new one.

Serving Together
Teams are how we serve together at All Souls. Each team is given a specific set of ministry tasks that serve the greater whole of our community as well as reaching out to Lexington beyond our walls.

If you would like to be be a part of a team (and you totally should do it!), you can fill out our team interest form and our parish administrator will be in touch to connect you with the leaders of the team that you have shown interest in.

If you see a church need that is not being met and you think that you would like to take the lead in starting a new team, you can use the same form and put your comments at the end and we will be in touch to discuss starting a new team.
